Easter Art!
I did this art lesson with my students at school. I asked the kids what their imagination looks like however with Finn I just gave him some materials and said, "have fun!"
Then, I took it to Staples and made it into a placemat. He loves his new placemat!
We made bunny ears and painted wooden eggs. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the cute wooden eggs!
Happy Easter Everyone!

Mazatlan, Mexico
We just spent seven blissful days in Mazatlan Mexico with a great crew of family.
^^ Photo credit goes to my Mama. Pretty great shot hey?
We visited the aquarium after too many hours in the sun the day before :)
Finn loved watching the sharks!
This is a fossil of a whale
Zane found a great tidal pool down the beach from our resort that was calling our name.
^^ This is a typical walk.... "Wait up guys... I found something!" says Finn.
I want to remember these tiny little footprints and the marks they are leaving on all of our hearts.
^^ a beautiful resort just above the tidal pools
^^ Grandpa was very good and patient at catching all the ocean life.
^^ Both Grandpas trying to get a crab out of his cave.
^^ This thing was creepy... It was like five snakes attached together at the centre.
^^ Grandpa found a starfish!
^^ The view from our hotel window. It was the best TV you could ask for on this trip. He loved the tractor that came to groom the beach in the morning, the boats, and the birds!
The view from my parents balcony.
We went to visit the downtown area (without Finn) and it was a day to remember. Jenn, Uncle Marty, and myself took off on an adventure and we visited all the best nooks and crannies of this city. This is the view walking on the malacon.
^^ Another shot from our hotel window. I couldn't get enough of our view!
^^ Jenn and Uncle Marty :)
^^ Finn has another cousin he looks up to... Zane! This trip gave Finn the opportunity to really connect and build a relationship with him.
I love this picture... wild and free.
^^ The first night we ate here... Pancho's Restaurant.
I tried to get the reflection in her sunglasses but I think I captured another beauty in this picture too!
^ It was short but he did nap on the beach! I think our family could easily live the Mexican life!!
^^ We didn't end up getting any photos together so thanks to my Mom for capturing this one! Finn got really sick at the end of our trip and this was his first day of being ill. Poor guy was a trooper and tried to put on a fake smile.
^^ We all loved riding in the Pulmonias, apparently no other city in Mexico has these as forms of transportation.
That is a really frog mascot on the bench with us. Finn was obsessed with him but didn't want him to get close. So this is the closest we got to getting a photo with him haha.
Our last day in Mexico just before we headed back home. We couldn't have asked for a better trip filled with relaxation, sunshine, and memories. We couldn't have gone without my parents help and having them with us made this trip that much smoother. Finn adores them (even when he is a stubborn 2 year old) and every evening we had to wish them a Happy Birthday before bed! Love you Mom and Dad and thank you so much for allowing us to come on this adventure with you.
