I can't believe a year has gone by. I can't believe a year has gone by. I just keep repeating that in my head in disbelief. I have had the most life changing year of my life. I have completely changed as a person, I have become a Mom. I can remember being in the hospital like it was yesterday spending every waking minute of the day next to your cot in the NICU. I remember cuddling with you every minute of everyday when we lived in our cute little home on Clement. Then, I remember us all moving together to Victoria and watching as you started to move and eat! Then, our trip to Europe and visiting all those amazing countries with you. And finally, coming to Kelowna and moving into our home. The home we plan to raise you in and the place you can feel comfortable and safe.
I'm completely hook, line, and sinker for you. I am not too sure about the next stage in our lives, with me going back to work but for now, I am just soaking in these last few days I have with Finn and get in as many cuddles as I can. I savour every single time I rock him to sleep, read him a story, or sing him a song.
I couldn't help but capture bath time when Maddy and Finn. They thought Arnold should join Finn in the tub. These two are best buddies!
We named Finn after two things: Jenn love for the water (Fin) and my love for adventure (Huckleberry Finn).
We love you Finn and we are so unbelievably happy we are blessed with raising you.
