I have finally downloaded some photos of the renovations we have done since the Fall. I sadly didn't get any photos of our outside garden renovations (done by Grandma Karen) but I will do that in the Spring when we take our DIY skills to outside.
^^ BEFORE: This is a photo when the previous owner lived here.
After: The quickest renovation ever! We painted the gold black and we had the fireplace serviced. It works now! Tom (previous owner) didn't use it for 20 odd years he lived here).
BEFORE: Another quick renovation. Thanks to my Dad's handy woodworking skills.
AFTER: Barnwood framed mirror. So awesome hey?
OKAY, now for the biggest transformation and project we took on this winter. Below are pictures of when Tom owned our home.
BEFORE
^^ DURING RENOVATIONS. We took down the mirrors first.
Then we painted the fireplace.
And took off the base tiles.
Then we peeled off the cedar panelling. Look at the gem we found behind the panelling. Amazing right?? Jenn said, "NO we aren't keeping the wallpaper. We are updated this house!" haha. I thought we could make this forest scene work haha.
We painted the walls, ripped out the carpet and installed new flooring (thanks to Jenn, Karen, and Dad).
New blinds.
Putting in some decor.
We installed a school map that was taken down from in my classroom at Big White.
Mum club craft night we made these cute banners. We decided to hang it in our new guest bedroom.
BEFORE: This is what it looked like when Tom lived in our home.
Then we installed these cute mailboxes.
We never really liked the floating shelf. It was time to take it down!
After! A quick renovation that changes our whole kitchen. I love that Finn can grab his own snacks now!
