München or Munich was a busy city filled with lederhosen and dirndls and the rich aroma of beer and pretzels. It was an experience to be had by all. We had only a weekend here in Munich so it was pretty action packed.
^^ Jenn found some real leather lederhosen. They were selling for $200 American in Leavenworth and we got Jenn's pair for 65 euro and on our way out we noticed the price went down even more to 40 euro (so I picked up a pair too!) Our bags probably weigh 20lbs more now with all that leather!
^^ This is the beer tents on the grounds.
^^ Finn is milk drunk apparently and we are drinking radlers (beer + sprite) in 1 litre mugs.
Karen is seeing triple!
Shawn took this photo of a photo and it shows what Oktoberfest really looks like. Just a tad bit of people hey?
WE MET WITH AUNTIE CATHY AND UNCLE SHAWN! This was the highlight of our weekend in Munich. I was so excited and happy to see these two. It was awesome hanging out all the way on the other side of the world. We left Glenmore! haha. Finn had a permanent smile the entire day with these two starring at him.
Touring the city.
My cute little lederhosen family!
Today we took a train to Salzburg, Austria. Finn isn't always happy but I would say 90% of his day he is smiling! He is a happy traveler.
^^ I always hear how much Finn looks like Maddy so I am hoping he sort of looks like me!!! haha.
^^ Our view from the train. Taking in the Bavarian alps and picturesque villages.
We MADE it to Salzburg and (if you can believe it) Finn is one happy boy! Stay tuned for our adventures ahead.
Auntie Sue (our travel agent) I'm sending you the details as we speak!
