Our Home

So we bought a house and we couldn't be more thrilled.  This is the beauty in all it's glory.  She is a 1974 home and she won us over with her backyard!  We are so happy to finally end our gypsy life and settle down somewhere for Finn to feel like he has a home.  It was the best opening up boxes (some that had been stored for five years) and seeing what had been hiding in them for so many years.  We have lived in our house for three weeks now and it already feels like home.  We are slowly going one room at a time and changing it to suite our style.  We hoping to get two rooms done before I start back at work in January.  

The first room we wanted to change up was Finn's.  So we didn't waste anytime and the day we moved in Karen painted the walls.

 It feels so good to finally have completed Finn's room.  As I write, Finn is sleeping in his new room and I think this house is feeling more like our home everyday.  

I find it very frustrated and difficult to take photos of rooms and decor.  It's definitely way better to see this room in person.  Stay tuned for the next room we are going to work on!
